Capoeira Arts Camp is a chance for young people (ages 6 to 11 years) to learn about and deepen their relationship to the Afro-Brazilian martial and ritual art form of Capoeira.

At Capoeira Arts Camp we will focus on coordination, stamina, musicality, balance, working together, playfulness, and creativity. Your teachers will be Mestre Tico, the founder of IlĂȘ Axé Capoeira, a world-class capoeirista, and Mestre Marreta, co-founder of Berkeley Capoeira Collective, a teacher of experiential anatomy and functional movement. The art class will be with Nichole Talbott (Manga Rosa) the founder of ASE ARTS.

4pm - clean up, pickup
4:30pm - latest pickup
